We’re Living This, Too
We’re Gen Xers caring for Lauren’s 83-year-old mother, Cathey. Although she has some age-related challenges, she wants to maintain her independence and stay in her own home—and we want that for her, too.
Over the past year, Keith installed smart home technology that transformed her independence and our peace of mind. She is able to control her lights and fan from bed. No more walking to the bathroom in the dark. Lauren can monitor Cathey’s medication dispenser right from her phone to ensure she’s taken her medications and to know when she’s running low. We can make sure her house is always at a comfortable temperature from afar. She can see who’s at the door without getting up. In an emergency, EMS can get in without us being there.
We started CarebridgeX to help other families create similar solutions. Whether you live close or far away, you can’t always be there, but technology helps bridge that gap.
